As we left the campground Sun. morning, our truck didn't want to cooperate so we sputtered and coughed our way to a service area, couldn't find a mechanic and our road side assistance would only tow the truck. Of course, everything was closed so we decided just to chance it and go on to Billings. The truck started to run so we bought a fuel filter which we didn't install and went on our way. Very mysterious.
Today was our first sight of show on the mountains and we drove through some beautiful country. We arrived at St. Mary, MT fairly late with the sick truck delay but did a little viewing. The campground is located on top of a "hill" overlooking a lake at the entrance of Glacier National Park. It is too early in the year for the park to be open but we certainly enjoyed the scenery.
